What the role involves:
As the Senior Events Strategist, you play a critical role within the Events Team at Input Output, supporting the company's strategic presence in the blockchain and technology space. This role is responsible for driving the planning and execution of external event participation, ensuring it is impactful, aligned with brand objectives, and delivered to a high standard. In addition, the position contributes to the coordination of internal events, including workshops and offsite meetings, supporting cross-functional collaboration and engagement.
This role requires a seasoned events professional with extensive experience in event marketing and global event management. The Senior Events Strategist is expected to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with strategic oversight.
- Strategic Planning: shape and implement the overall event strategy, aligning with organizational goals and marketing objectives.
- Event Management: Oversee end-to-end planning and execution of events, including conferences, trade shows, product launches, internal workshops and offsite meetings.
- Vendor Coordination: Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, including venues, caterers, AV teams, and production companies.
- Logistics Oversight: Manage event logistics such as travel arrangements, attendee coordination, accommodation, booth design, and on-site support.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with the Input Output’s product, marketing and community teams to develop promotional materials, event branding, and attendee engagement strategies.
- Analytics and Reporting: Measure the success of events through KPIs, feedback, and ROI analysis; provide post-event reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas to enhance event experiences. Support the integration of event learnings into broader marketing and business strategies, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements

- Familiarity with experiential marketing principles.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative problem-solving and adaptability under pressure.
- 7+ years of experience in event management, with a focus on large-scale and high-profile events.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field.
- Experience in the technology sector required, experience working with Web3 companies is ideal.
- Expertise in managing global events.
- Strategic Judgment: The ability to connect business objectives with event strategy -understanding when, where, and how to show up for maximum impact.
- Operational Precision: Maintains strong attention to detail across all aspects of event planning, ensuring seamless execution and brand consistency under tight timelines.
- Stakeholder Management: Balances the needs and expectations of multiple internal and external stakeholders, navigating competing priorities with diplomacy and clarity.
- Global and Cultural Awareness: Understands the nuances of executing events across different regions, time zones, and cultural contexts, adapting approach accordingly.
- Brand Representation: Acts as a steward of the brand, ensuring events reflect company identity and values, both visually and experientially.
- Insight-Driven Planning: Uses event metrics, attendee feedback, and industry trends to refine strategies and continuously improve event impact.
