(Senior) Finance Manager (all genders)

Build and develop our finance and controlling structures and systems from the ground up together with the CFO.

Lead forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling for projects and ventures.

Create and maintain liquidity plans and scenario analyses.

Design and manage a lean, effective reporting system (dashboards, KPIs, performance tracking).

Coordinate external service providers such as accounting, payroll, and tax advisors.

Prepare decision‑ready analyses and presentations for the CFO, advisory board, and external partners.

Your profile

Experience in finance, financial and/or operational controlling, or strategy, ideally in a startup or innovation‑driven environment.

You are familiar with the challenges of public vs. private funding and nonprofit regulations in Germany.

You are analytical, structured, and proactive, and you enjoy creating clarity in complexity.

Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets and an interest in working with modern reporting tools.

You are experienced in the technical side of controlling, e.g. setting up BI‑reports and ideally -systems.

You have a good understanding of corporate structures involving multiple entities or shareholdings.

You communicate fluently in German and English.

You take initiative and enjoy working in a purpose‑driven, entrepreneurial environment with plenty of creative freedom.
