Senior Financial Analyst (m/f/d) – Full time at ib vogt GmbH. The Senior Financial Analyst will own, maintain, and further develop the Long-Term Business Plan (LTBP) model – a consolidated 5-year financial outlook across all business units of the group.

Since 2009, ib vogt has commissioned plants with a capacity of almost 2 Gigawatt. We employ over 840 specialists, in all areas of the solar power plant value chain in over 40 countries. The company operates internationally from offices in Spain Germany, Italy, Netherlands, France, Poland, USA, Australia, United Kingdom, Panama, India and South East Asia.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and continuously enhance the group’s Long-Term Business Plan model
• Consolidate financial inputs from all relevant business units into a cohesive and dynamic planning framework
• Implement and maintain robust dynamic connections to company databases and reporting tools, such as Business Central, Compass and Lucanet
• Collaborate closely with business unit leaders, the broader finance team, and the Group Strategy department to align assumptions and strategic priorities
• Question and validate model inputs from across the organization to ensure model integrity
• Analyze trends, risks, and opportunities to inform long-term financial performance and scenario planning
• Support senior leadership with insights and presentations derived from the LTBP
• Ensure model integrity and transparency, including documentation and version control
• Initiate and manage improvement projects aiming to enhance robustness of LTBP inputs
• Prepare relevant analytical insights into the projected financial performance and scenario planning to inform strategy formulation
• Oversee the preparation of the group LTBP model and ensure the integrity and consistency of BU inputs

Qualifications

• Master degree in Finance or a related field
• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience as a Financial Analyst, Investment Analyst, or in a similar role – ideally within a Big 4 firm (experience with model audits is a plus)
• A high level of curiosity and critical thinking
• Strong proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and scenario analysis
• Solid understanding of accounting principles (German GAAP, IFRS), corporate finance and strategic planning
• Excellent Excel skills with profound VBA experience
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Exceptional data presentation with clarity, nuance and persuasive delivery
• Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented mindset
• CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) is a plus
• Proficiency in English is mandatory
