Senior FP&A Analyst (m/f/d)

We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive Senior FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team.

In this role, you’ll play a pivotal role in our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function.

Your role and goals

As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you’ll be a strategic finance partner helping drive data-informed decision-making across the organization. In this role, you will take ownership of planning, forecasting, reporting, and developing financial models across P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet.

In your first 3 months, you will:

• Familiarize yourself with Productsup's business, processes and tools, as well as with the company's unique operating model
• Build strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders in Finance and other departments
• Gain a strong understanding of our financial systems, reporting structures and analytical tools
• Understand the key business drivers and financial KPIs of our organization

In your first 6 months and beyond you will:

• Deep dive into our existing budgeting and forecasting processes
• Update the Financial Operating model with monthly actuals, addressing forecast risks proactively
• Identify at least one area of improvement in reporting, modeling, or data workflows and propose an action plan
• Maintain the company’s Financial Operating model to ensure close tracking of Productsup’s overall financial performance incl. EBITDA and cash flow
• Act as a finance Business Partner to the Senior Leadership Team; provide support for commercial and people-related proposals
• Provide insights that directly contribute to board reporting and leadership decision-making

What you bring to the team

• 4-6 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, with a proven track record in forecasting and financial modeling, ideally from SaaS, Retail tech, Online marketplaces or Ecommerce industry
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a focus on finance, economics, or a related field or relevant professional experience
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business narratives and collaborate effectively across all divisions and levels within Productsup
• Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and analysis is a must.
• Commitment to becoming a modeling subject-matter expert by mastering all inputs, assumptions, and model logic.
• Maintain a strong focus on accuracy and detail while delivering high-quality work in a fast-moving, evolving environment
• Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills (knowledge of the German language is a plus)
