Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Internal Platforms team. In this role, you will work on core applications and infrastructure that are central to the company's critical functions. You will have a direct impact on the evolution of platforms that support research publication, data forecasting, chart generation, and client access management, as well as the integrations between these systems. This is a full-stack role focused on modernizing existing applications and building new ones with the latest technologies.

Responsibilities

• Work on a modern scrum team, participating in planning meetings, daily stand-ups, 1:1s, and retrospective sessions.

• Develop code and mentor fellow engineers.

• Contribute to the entire full-stack codebase for the company's services.

• Participate in the entire Software Development Lifecycle.

• Enhance and maintain existing websites and applications.

• Contribute to the QA process by creating unit tests, reviewing code, and providing valuable feedback.

• Modernize existing applications and develop new applications using the latest technologies for internal research platforms.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.

• Strong frontend development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, or Vue.js.

• Basic understanding of back-end server-side programming languages/technologies, such as C#/.NET Core/.NET Framework/ASP.NET.

• Experience with distributed systems architecture.

• Good understanding of design patterns and software best practices.

• Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, is a plus. Strong experience with another NoSQL or relational database (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) is also valued.
