Our tech stack is quite broad, Angular, TypeScript, Node, Express, Nest, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, and LLM/ ML. Just to name a few.

The app we have been building is an all-in-one productivity suite that integrates with LLMs to enhance productivity.

We have a working product and are about 85 percent complete with a handful of core features yet to implement from our backlog.


Job Description

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing our web applications and backend systems. Leveraging your expertise in Angular, Node.js, Nest.js, APIs, PostgreSQL, etc... you will work on both the client-side and server-side architecture, ensuring our systems are highly scalable, resilient, and secure. You will be responsible for managing complex data flows and maintaining robust microservices architecture to handle high-traffic environments and critical service requirements.


Key Responsibilities


• Full-Stack Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy front-end (Angular) and back-end (Node.js and Nest.js,) applications, with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.
• Microservices Architecture: Build and maintain a microservices-based architecture, ensuring each service is modular, scalable, and can handle large and complex data flows efficiently.
• Database Management: Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL databases to handle extensive data processing requirements while ensuring high performance and reliability.
• API Development: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs that are well-documented, secure, and meet high service requirements.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and improve application performance, particularly in high-traffic situations, to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Code Review & Mentorship: Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality code and mentor junior developers, promoting best practices in code quality, architecture, and design patterns.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, UX/UI, and DevOps, to deliver robust and user-centered solutions. Document processes and technical designs thoroughly.


Required Skills & Qualifications


• Professional Experience: 7+ years of full-stack development experience, with a focus on large-scale web applications and high-traffic environments.
• Proficiency in Tech Stack:
  • Front-End: Angular
  • Back-End: Node.js, Nest.js,
  • Database: PostgreSQL
• Strong Understanding of Microservices Architecture: Experience in designing, building, and deploying microservices-based systems, with knowledge of handling complex and large data flows.
• Experience with High-Traffic Applications: Proven experience in building applications that handle high-traffic loads and ensuring uptime, scalability, and performance under pressure.
• DevOps & CI/CD Knowledge: Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Demonstrated ability to tackle complex technical challenges and continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and solutions.


Preferred Skills


• Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, OVH
• API Security & Authentication: Knowledge of security best practices, including OAuth, JWT, and data encryption.
• Search products like ElasticSearch or OpenSearch
• Data Management: Experience with caching solutions (e.g., Redis), message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka), and other tools for optimizing data flows.
