Job Description:

We’re looking for a senior fullstack engineer to join team Chronos, building Smartly’s TikTok offering.

Our TikTok product helps advertisers create hundreds of ad variations simultaneously using automation and publish them easily and effectively. It also provides reporting and automatic campaign optimization.

TikTok is a key growth channel for Smartly. We are working on projects to keep up with TikTok's latest developments and enhance our features. As a developer, you will play a crucial role in providing a seamless experience for our customers.

Team Chronos develops the product autonomously, working closely with advanced advertisers and in-house campaign managers, ensuring quick feedback.

What we're working with & what you'll do...

The product includes a micro-frontend built with React and TypeScript, and a backend service in Kubernetes using Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ. We focus on scalability to support growing advertiser needs.

On the frontend, you'll make creating templated ads intuitive while handling TikTok complexities. On the backend, you'll ensure the template engine scales and meets TikTok API constraints. You'll also build APIs and assist other teams in porting features to TikTok.

You will influence product development and own features end-to-end, collaborating across teams.

Who we're looking for...

A growth-minded individual with good communication skills and the ability to work independently. Experience with React, Typescript, Node, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, or similar tools is required. The role is hybrid, requiring 2 days/week in Berlin.
