(Senior) Government Program Manager
Location: Munich, Germany
About us
We are an early-stage European start-up building advanced small Unmanned Systems (sUxS) to strengthen European sovereignty and security. Our focus is on cost-efficient, modular and scalable solutions for defense and security applications. Backed by leading European investors and defense experts, we are positioning ourselves as industrial partner of European Ministries of Defenses.
What we’re looking for
As (Senior) Government Program Manager, you'll serve as both strategist and operator—guiding programs of record (PoRs) from early leads through delivery. In close collaboration with our CCO, Government Relations team, or local agents, you'll identify, capture and deliver high-impact government programs, coordinating internally across technology, operations, and our own Drone Academy.
The day-to-day
Own full lifecycle of government programs: from initial lead to successful delivery
Collaborate with CCO, Government Relations, or local agents to develop, qualify, and capture new program opportunities
Coordinate with tech, operations, and own Drone Academy teams on requirements and timelines
Lead bid & proposal efforts—including scoping, solution design, and submission
Represent the company in program reviews, steering sessions, and customer engagements
Report progress and outcomes to leadership and relevant stakeholders
You should apply if you
Have 3–6 years of experience in program management, business development, or bid/proposal roles—ideally in defense, aerospace, or dual-use tech sectors
Possess hands-on experience managing government or institutional programs end-to-end
Are an effective, confident interface between customers and internal teams across technical and operational domains
Thrive in dynamic, start-up environments—flexible, proactive, and results-driven
Are fluent in German and English (must-have)
Nice to haves
Prior start-up experience in defense tech
Background in UAVs, robotics, or defense system delivery
Knowledge of European procurement frameworks and institutional contracting processes
Experience with NATO or EU defense program structures
What we offer
A high-impact management role owning flagship governmental programs
Competitive salary and potentially equity package
Ownership, autonomy, and direct influence in one of Europe’s most ambitious defense start-ups
Flexible working arrangements with preference for Munich presence
How to apply (and hear from us within 24 hours)

Provide your CV or LinkedIn profile.
