Senior Hardware Engineer - Power Electronics — Up to €100,000

My client is expanding their power electronics engineering team and is seeking experienced hardware engineers who enjoy deep circuit design, full lifecycle product development, and working on technically demanding systems in the 10 kW+ range. If you’ve worked across magnetics, high-frequency power stages, and current/voltage measurement — and you’re comfortable with simulation, PCB tools, and real product delivery — we’d like to speak with you.

Your Role

• Design and develop high-power analog and digital circuits for energy systems and power conversion
• Work hands-on with magnetics, transformers, current/voltage sensing, and semiconductor components
• Own the full product lifecycle — from schematic design through to certification and production
• Collaborate with simulation, software, and mechanical teams under a flat, engineering-led structure
• Use industry-leading tools like Siemens Expedition (PCB design) and LTspice / PLECS / Simulink (simulation)
• Contribute to architectural discussions and potentially take on technical leadership responsibilities

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in hardware development for power electronics
• Strong knowledge of analog/digital circuits, high-frequency switching, and power stage design
• Proficiency with PCB design tools (Siemens Expedition, Altium, Siemens HyperLynx)
• Simulation skills using LTspice, PLECS, Simulink, or MATLAB
• Experience working with systems above 10 kW (DC/DC, AC/DC, etc.)
• Understanding of production workflows and certification standards
• Fluent German language skills (B2+) preferred ; fluent English accepted for strong technical candidates
