Overview

The Head of Human Resources will be a key member of the executive leadership team of our manufacturing client looking to expand globally and will work with the Business leaders to define the strategic vision and direction of the organization and ensure the delivery of the same through a highly motivated team. Our client is poised towards a growth trajectory and you'll be instrumental in setting up the HR systems to partner with the organization growth.

About the Role

We’re looking for a seasoned HR professional to lead HR strategy across our European manufacturing operations. You’ll work closely with senior leaders to align HR initiatives with business goals and support a positive, compliant, and engaging work culture.

What You’ll Do

HR Strategy & Leadership

  • Partner with leadership to shape and deliver HR strategies across Germany and Europe.
  • Advise on workforce planning, organizational design, and people development.

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Ensure HR policies and practices follow German and European labor laws.
  • Support restructuring, policy updates, and workforce changes.

Talent & Team Management

  • Lead hiring, onboarding, and retention for manufacturing and support teams.
  • Plan for future workforce needs and succession.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Performance & Development

  • Manage performance reviews and talent development programs.
  • Launch employee engagement initiatives and act on feedback.

Change & Projects

  • Support business changes like restructuring or new setups.
  • Lead HR projects including system upgrades and policy harmonization.

What We’re Looking For

  • 12–18 years of HR experience, with 7+ years in senior HRBP roles.
  • Strong background in manufacturing and managing large teams.
  • Deep knowledge of German labor law and European employment practices.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and influence senior leadership.
  • Skilled in talent management, organizational development, and change programs.
