  • Support the design and implementation of policies, guidelines, and procedures, and lead change management and employee engagement activities in Germany.
  • Monitor changes and trends in employment law and best practice to ensure continued compliance and meet legal requirements in employee relations to minimize liability exposure.
  • Translate HR strategy into actionable plans for Germany and support global HR program implementation.
  • Support established Works Council relations: Liaise with Workers Councils in Germany; draft, negotiate, and update company agreements after consultation with all internal stakeholders such as HR, Finance, IT, or other involved Business Groups.
  • Administer programs, procedures, and plans related to employee relations activities, working with external vendors if required.
  • Assist HRBPs on specific projects/initiatives/policies to provide professional advice & guidance on all HR matters to line managers & staff in Germany.
  • Work closely with HR Operations to ensure HR processes run smoothly in Germany.
  • Lead or contribute to HR projects as required.

This is a fulltime temporary contract until February 2027

Knowledge, Skills and Experience / Qualifications:

  • Fully qualified and experienced professional with strong competence using the tools, processes, and procedures required for the role.
  • Typically requires 5 to 8 years of related experience.
  • Academic degree in HR Management or a relevant study such as business administration, law, or psychology.
  • In-depth knowledge of German employment law, collective bargaining & works council laws.
  • Good experience in project handling.
  • Excellent cross-cultural, communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Used to working in a complex, fast-changing, high‑speed work field.
  • Solution‑thinking with a strong initiative and drive, capable of managing multiple projects and partnerships effectively.
  • Very good command of German & English language are key elements required for the job.
  • Experience using MS‑Office and ideally SAP HR & SuccessFactors HR modules.
