Senior Integration Test Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Planning and execution of system and integration tests for hardware and software components
• Creation and maintenance of test plans, test cases, and traceability matrices
• Derivation and implementation of standard-compliant test cases based on functional and safety-relevant requirements (SIL 2/3)
• Further development and maintenance of automated test environments (HiL, SiL) – including frameworks and CI/CD integration
• Analysis, documentation, and evaluation of test results as well as active defect management
• Support during audits and certifications (e.g., by TÜV) as well as the preparation of safety-relevant evidence in accordance with IEC 61508
• Close collaboration with internal development departments and external certification bodies
• Active participation in shaping test processes, tools, and strategies within thesafety products
• Optional: Contribution to research projects in the area of AI-supported test automation

Your Profile

• Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or comparable technical training
• Several years of experience in system and integration testing of safety-critical systems, in particular Industrial automation and motion safety
• Several years of experience of specifying and constructing HiL and SiL rigs
• Several years of experience of project work with embedded systems
• Strong understanding of the V-model development process
• Knowledge of functional safety according to IEC61508 (ideally with certification or audit experience)
• Experience in automated test environments (HiL/SiL) and tools like LabVIEW, Python, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.
• Useful knowledge of C code and its ecosystem
• Analytical thinking, structured working style, and high team spirit
• You are fluent in English; German is a plus
