Senior IOS developer for iOS Application - Update existing paid application to free



What you’ll be working on:
• Updating an existing paid iOS application to support a free-to-download model
• Adjusting purchase flows, subscriptions, or in-app purchases as needed
• Ensuring compliance with App Store guidelines during the transition
• Optimizing performance and memory usage to improve user experience
• Implementing best practices for future scalability, stability, and maintainability


What we’re looking for:
• Deep iOS expertise: Swift, Objective-C, UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine
• Proven experience updating or maintaining existing iOS applications already live on the App Store
• Full-cycle iOS development skills: from UI/UX implementation to backend integration and business logic
• Performance-focused mindset: experience with tuning, profiling, and optimization (apps that run faster and more efficiently)
• Familiarity with App Store workflows: app review, compliance, monetization models
• Modern development workflow: CI/CD (Fastlane, GitHub Actions), CocoaPods/SPM, architecture patterns like MVVM or VIPER


Nice-to-have:
• Experience transitioning apps between paid and free models
• Knowledge of different monetization strategies (ads, freemium, in-app purchases, subscriptions)
• Strong attention to detail and proactive communication
