Brainlab München

Stellenbeschreibung:

Company Description

Founded in Munich, Germany in 1989, Brainlab develops, manufactures, and markets software-driven medical technology, enabling access to improved, more efficient, less-invasive patient treatments. Our success is driven by our creative, talented, and hard-working team of around 2400 dedicated individuals across 25 locations worldwide. We seek committed colleagues who embody our core values: curious, authentic, and useful.

Your main tasks include designing, architecting, and operating Snke’s future core IT infrastructure in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

This involves:

  • Virtualization and container infrastructure
  • Storage system landscape
  • Backup and disaster recovery
  • Windows and Linux server management
  • Cloud infrastructure
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless IT operations
  • Continuously evaluating and improving processes with a proactive, service-oriented mindset

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure environments
  • Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure architecture design
  • Hands-on experience with servers, storage systems, and backup environments in on-premises facilities
  • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure management
  • Good understanding of IT security concepts
  • Analytical troubleshooting skills
  • Exposure to data center and network automation
  • Structured, analytical, and service-oriented mindset
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus
  • Relevant certifications are a plus

Additional Information:

  • A mutually supportive, international team
  • Meaningful work with a lasting impact on medical technology
  • 30 vacation days, plus December 24th and 31st
  • Bike leasing via partner "BikeLeasing"
  • Parking garage and secure underground bike storage
  • Award-winning subsidized company restaurant and in-house cafes
  • Variety-rich fitness program in our modern 360m² company gym
  • Regular after-work, team, and company events
  • Comprehensive training and continuing education opportunities
