At Vicoland, we are transforming the two-trillion-dollar professional services market by introducing a new dimension to the gig economy: Virtual Companies, or “Vicos.” Vicos enable freelancers to collaborate as if they were a real company, competing for large projects. Our digital platform offers legal, organizational, and transactional technology to facilitate collaboration between Vicos and clients. We have partnered with Fortune 500 companies like Netflix, Siemens, and WPP, as well as smaller clients. Our technology is recognized by industry leaders and research firms such as SAP, Forrester, and Manpower.

To accelerate our growth and enhance our platform, we are seeking an outstanding developer. This individual should be highly impactful, capable of elevating team performance, and experienced in developing high-quality software efficiently. The ideal candidate can quickly analyze problems, select optimal solutions, and effectively leverage AI to solve challenges, automate processes, and unlock new business opportunities.

Tasks

1. Design AI-first software solutions that address complex user stories, ensuring scalable architectures and efficient development workflows.
2. Collaborate directly with stakeholders to develop innovative solutions for diverse business challenges.
3. Work closely with product managers and UX designers to create optimal solutions from both user and technical perspectives.
4. Own the entire development pipeline, from technical design and development to deployment and monitoring.
5. Collaborate with other developers on architectural design, code reviews, and retrospectives.

Requirements

1. Maintain an agnostic approach to programming languages and tools, choosing the best technology for each task.
2. Possess hands-on experience leveraging AI tools to solve real-world business problems.
3. Proficient with Large Language Models (LLMs), deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow, and vector embedding workflows.
4. Experience designing and implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and other production-grade generative AI services.
5. Experience developing agentic AI workflows, including multi-step reasoning, tool use, memory management, and autonomous decision-making systems.
6. Driven to learn, adapt, and improve continuously.
7. Ability to challenge others and engage in constructive discussions with colleagues, product owners, or the CTO.
8. Highly autonomous with problem-solving skills, knowing when to involve others.
9. Friendly and respectful towards colleagues.

Location

• Location: You should be within approximately 3 hours of continental European time zone.
