Our client is seeking for a qualified lawyer to provide legal support in commercial, IT / IP, and data protection law. The role supports a specialised division focused on digital platforms, automation, and energy systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate commercial and IT contracts (e.g. SaaS, software licensing, service agreements).
• Advise on data protection and GDPR compliance.
• Support product and IT teams on legal aspects of digital solutions.
• Track legal developments and deliver actionable guidance.
• Liaise with internal teams and manage external counsel as needed.

Requirements

• Fully qualified German lawyer (Volljurist).
• 4–7 years’ experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, ideally in tech, industrial, or energy sectors.
• Strong knowledge of commercial, IT / IP, data protection law, and licensing.
• Fluent in German and English, with excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
• Pragmatic, business-focused, and comfortable in an international setting.
