Your responsibilities

• Support activities of the newly established Liquidity Risk team to optimize and manage risks associated with commodity trading within the Uniper group.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of margined portfolio movements, develop forecasts, and identify key drivers.
• Assist in projects and enhance models for liquidity risk in Liquidity / Credit Risk Systems.
• Support the management of the margined portfolio across exchanges and OTC markets, evaluate limit usage, and develop stress scenarios.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with commodity trading desks and provide recommendations to optimize portfolios.
• Monitor liquidity risks for the Uniper group, explaining risks to various stakeholders.

Your profile

• Degree in business, finance, economics, mathematics, or related field.
• Experience in Risk / Liquidity management or Treasury, preferably in investment banking or energy trading.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with keen attention to detail.
• Knowledge of risk methodologies (VaR, PFE) and stress testing.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python.
• Ability to work effectively in international, multicultural teams and build positive relationships.
• Independent judgment, insightful, and capable of driving change.
• Excellent communication skills in English, confident interaction with senior management.
