About the Opportunity 
We are seeking a Senior Manager – Business Continuity Management to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to ensure resilience at a cutting‑edge, technology‑driven bank. You will take full ownership of various non‑financial risk topics and work across functions, products, and markets to assess, control, and report on non‑financial risks that N26 is exposed to. 
Responsibilities 
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Business Continuity Management and Crisis Management framework across all operations. 
 - Define BCM strategy, policies, procedures, methodology, and standards in alignment with regulatory requirements (e.g., DORA, MaRisk) and industry best practices. 
 - Collaborate with the 1st Line of Defense (LoD) as it performs its BCM duties including identification and management of risks and controls. 
 - Manage complex business impact analyses (BIAs) and risk assessments to identify critical business functions and dependencies. 
 - Lead the implementation and integration of a new BCM tool and mass notification system to enhance planning, response, and communication capabilities. 
 - Create training and awareness plans across the organization to build a strong resilience culture. 
 - Highlight potential gaps and risks to senior leaders, the board, and committees with supporting KPIs on readiness, outcomes, and emerging risks. 
 - Plan, manage, and conduct regular continuity testing (table‑top exercises, simulations, recovery drills) and track the remediation of gaps by the 1st LoD. 
 - Monitor regulatory and industry developments in operational resilience and adapt frameworks accordingly. 
 - Manage and coordinate tasks within the BCM team. 
  
Qualifications 
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Resilience, BCM, Business Administration, or other relevant areas. 
 - 5+ years of professional experience in Business Continuity Management / Crisis Management (may include ICT Risk, Third Party Risk Management) gained in banking/financial services or in a consulting firm. 
  
Skills 
- Sound knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., MaRisk, BAIT, DORA) and common industry standards (e.g., ISO 22301). 
 - Strong analytical and conceptual skills, creativity, critical thinking, and the ability to identify problems and propose solutions. 
 - Excellent communication skills both on technical and managerial levels. 
 - Track record in project delivery. 
 - An entrepreneurial vision, an autonomous attitude, and a ‘get‑things‑done’ approach. 
 - Hands‑on approach and eagerness to tackle new topics while demonstrating a quick grasp in conceptual project work and strategic thinking. 
 - Fluency in English is required; German is a plus.
