The Development department is responsible for the growth of the group, including acquisition of new locations and properties and expansion of the product range. Join us and make it your own story.
Responsibilities
- Independently lead acquisition and negotiation processes for hotel projects in the DACH and Benelux regions, from first contact to signed deal
- Analyse potential sites, develop feasibility studies, and shape tailor-made project strategies
- Negotiate term sheets and contracts with property owners, investors and developers
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders across all project phases from design and technical planning to commercial evaluation
- Continuously develop our internal toolbox (contract templates, cost benchmarks, planning standards, etc.)
- Represent Ruby at industry events, drive PR opportunities and manage key accounts throughout the project lifecycle
- Support strategic decision-making through well-structured reports, presentations and documentation
Qualifications
- Bring at least 3 years of experience in hotel development, ideally on the operator side
- Strong track record of independently closing deals and managing multi-stakeholder projects
- Know the hotel and real estate market inside out; a valuable network is a plus
- Fluent in English and German
- Hands-on mentality with ownership, and ability to navigate complex situations with structure and confidence
- Enjoy working with diverse teams and building long-term partnerships
