Senior Business Auditor – Digital Wealth Platform

A regulated digital wealth platform and custodian bank managing over €40bn in client assets for 650,000+ clients. Operating in one of Europe’s most tightly supervised sectors, we are strengthening our Internal Audit function with an experienced Senior Business Auditor (Associate Director level).


The Role
• Lead and deliver risk-based audits across platform distribution, custody, and investment operations.
• Ensure compliance with MiFID II, BaFin’s BAIT, and the new DORA resilience framework.
• Assess key risks in areas such as cybersecurity, outsourcing, operational resilience, AML/fraud.
• Produce clear, actionable reports for senior management and the Audit Committee.
• Act as a trusted advisor, challenging and supporting the business with insight.


About You
• 7+ years in internal audit or assurance within banking, wealth/asset management, or custodians.
• Strong grasp of German/EU regulation (MiFID II, BAIT, KWG/MaRisk, DORA).
• Proven ability to lead audits independently and influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent reporting and communication skills; German & English required.
• CIA, CISA or equivalent certification desirable.
