Senior Manager Labor Relations Europe (m / f / x)

What you'll need to succeed :

• University degree in Law with focus on individual and collective Labor Law or a comparable academic qualification as a business lawyer.
• Ca. 10 years of experience in labor relations and labor law, preferably in a lead position.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry, ideally automotive, and in a global transformational context with topics such as the implementation of HR systems, equal pay, and workforce alignment.
• In-depth knowledge of German labor law, collective bargaining, and EU regulations.
• Proven success in cooperation with works councils and labor court employment cases.
• Project management experience.
• Business acumen and strategic thinking.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• High persuasion, assertiveness, resilience, and a positive, solution-focused mindset.
• Ethics, integrity, and trustworthiness.
• Business fluency in German and English.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

• Support for Labor Relations matters and Labor Law within the Center of Excellence.
• Develop and implement labor relations strategies that align with company goals and foster positive relations with works councils.
• Manage the Textron European Works Council.
• Negotiate and manage collective labor agreements, focusing on Germany.
• Advise, support, and train HR teams and leaders on labor relations and labor law issues.
• Build and maintain relationships with employee representatives and councils.
• Handle labor disputes, grievances, and individual legal cases.
• Monitor labor legislation trends and proactively derive measures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and company policies, including regular review and adjustment of contract documents and templates.
• Manage relations with law offices and employer associations.
• Regularly communicate and escalate issues to the Director HR EU and the Textron CHRO.
• Participate in additional People-related tasks and projects.
