Senior Manager Third Party Manufacturing – Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate activities with external manufacturing partners for the successful launch and ongoing production of new products, especially in the medical technology sector.

• Contract management & partner support – support development and negotiation of contracts with external manufacturers for new and existing projects; serve as main point of contact to ensure alignment on schedules, deliveries and quality requirements.
• Cross‑functional coordination – work closely with teams from development, procurement, legal, quality assurance and supply chain to implement manufacturing projects smoothly; organize cross‑functional meetings and ensure clear communication between internal and external stakeholders.
• Product launch & operational readiness – support launch of new products at external manufacturing sites; ensure operational readiness of manufacturing processes, documentation and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Inventory & supply chain monitoring – implement and maintain systems to monitor inventory, trigger orders and manage replenishment cycles; monitor and report on manufacturing certificates, batch release documents and product availability.
• Compliance & quality oversight – ensure all manufacturing activities meet applicable regulatory requirements; support audits and inspections related to external manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Hochschulstudium in Ingenieurwesen, Naturwissenschaften, Supply Chain oder verwandtem Fachgebiet; weiterführender Abschluss von Vorteil.
• Mindestens 5 Jahre Erfahrung in Third Party Manufacturing, Vertragsmanagement oder Supply Chain Operations.
• Fundierte, verhandlungssichere Englischkenntnisse.
• Branchenerfahrung in Pharmazeutika, Biologika oder Medizintechnik stark bevorzugt.
• Kenntnisse in GMP, regulatorischer Compliance und Qualitätssystemen.
• Ausgezeichnete Projektmanagement, Kommunikations- und Verhandlungsfähigkeiten.
• Erfahrung im Umgang mit ERP‑Systemen und Tools zur Bestandsverwaltung.

Wünschenswerte Fähigkeiten

• PMP oder vergleichbare Projektmanagement‑Zertifizierung.
• Erfahrung mit Technologietransfer und Hochskalierung von Fertigungsprozessen.
• Vertrautheit mit digitalen Tools zur Transparenz in der Lieferkette und zur Zusammenarbeit mit Partnern.
