Senior Manufacturing Engineer (m/w/d)

Job Overview

Project management for the introduction of new machines into production, including the determination and definition of process parameters.

Further development of existing processes and procedures with the aim of enabling strategic alignment through these improvements.

Project responsibility for the procurement, specification, and commissioning of new production facilities. This includes tooling, process parameter determination, approval, documentation, and training.

Support in process implementation for new projects through to series production readiness

Implementation of transfer projects between locations

Networking with other locations for technology exchange and optimal solution finding

Production support in the execution of manufacturing processes and in machine setup procedures

Independent troubleshooting and repair work, including associated documentation

Planning, execution, and documentation of technological tests and measurements in coordination with development and production management

Optimization of existing manufacturing processes and procedures

Instruction, training, and qualification of operators, including the approval of qualifications

What Your Background Should Look Like

Completed degree or technician qualification in electronics, electrical engineering, communications engineering, mechatronics, or completion of comparable training

At least 5 years of relevant practical experience in electronics manufacturing/in-depth understanding of assembly and connection technology processes

Care and accuracy combined with manual and technical skills

Analytical approach to problem solving (e.g., 8D reporting, Lean Six Sigma, FMEA)

Relevant experience with ERP systems; SAP preferred

Very good written and spoken German and English skills
