Overview

Senior Marketing Manager role for the DACH region. You actively shape the future of Experian in the DACH region, develop and own a holistic marketing strategy that positions the company sustainably in the local market. You are the central point of contact for demand generation and lead quality, managing multi-stage campaigns from concept to monitoring. You work with regional marketing colleagues and local sales teams to drive data-driven, user-centric engagement that adds value. Main Responsibilities, Tasks, Duties

  • Take ownership of the strategic development of demand generation and contribute ideas from concept to execution.
  • Develop, manage, and continuously optimize a one- to multi-year marketing strategy in alignment with executive leadership and relevant stakeholders.
  • Be responsible for strategic lead generation in close collaboration with sales leaders across different markets, covering the entire funnel, and define and implement measures to improve lead quality and quantity.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize campaigns across various channels, including performance analysis and ongoing fine-tuning, with defined success metrics.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive activities, and customer needs to evolve the marketing strategy, closely integrated with regional/local product management and local sales teams.
  • Independently manage external agencies and service providers.
  • Shape processes, content creation, and event planning.
  • Use and further develop MarTech platforms Eloqua and Salesforce for data-driven, scalable marketing.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of at least 10 years in B2B marketing, including KPIs and individual contributions.
  • Excellent proficiency with CRM and marketing automation tools; experience with Salesforce and Eloqua is a plus.
  • Experience in tech marketing or data-driven business models and in complex matrix organizations.
  • Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken, as you’ll regularly collaborate with international colleagues.
  • Strong communication skills with assertiveness and confident presence.
  • Creativity and initiative; you contribute ideas and proactively drive topics forward.
  • A structured working style with a strong sense for processes, KPIs, and priorities.
  • Potential for functional leadership and development of marketing team members and projects within the organization, acting as a sparring partner, source of inspiration, and coach for colleagues.
