THE ROLE & THE TEAM

The GTMM & Media Operations Team is a high-impact function dedicated to driving operational excellence, standardization, and efficiency across the entire marketing organization. Our mandate is to enable Agile Execution & Optimisation by strengthening the foundational pillars of our marketing engine—technology, processes, data, and insights.

As the Sr. Marketing Operations Manager (all genders), you will be the core subject matter expert focusing on the Marketing Technology (MarTech) stack, Processes & Workflows, and the Management of External Agency Partners. You will own and optimise a portfolio of critical marketing operations topics end‑to‑end, working with internal teams and external agencies to ensure our entire operating model is scalable, integrated, and delivers high‑quality output. You will be instrumental in ensuring a cohesive set‑up between our internal capabilities and external partners, guaranteeing execution speed and quality.

Process & Workflow Excellence

  • Standardisation: Design, document, and implement efficient marketing operational processes, including critical campaign production workflows, to eliminate friction and reduce lengthy alignment/approval rounds.
  • Agile Enablement: Critically evaluate and challenge current operational processes, identifying bottlenecks and opportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness to enable Agile Execution.
  • Project Management: Manage varied, multi‑functional projects related to process or tool rollouts, ensuring timely delivery and clear communication with all relevant stakeholders (e.g., Marketing, Finance, Analytics, Tech, etc.).

MarTech Strategy & Management

  • Own the Stack: Drive the strategy, governance, and optimisation of the end‑to‑end MarTech stack in strong collaboration with Product & Engineering, ensuring we have the necessary tools for speed, automation, and scalability that directly support insights on ROI uplift for Brand Marketing.
  • Integrate and Implement: Lead the technical and operational integration of MarTech platforms from a business POV together with external vendors and internal Product & Engineering (e.g., Planning & Finance Tools, DAM, Social Tools) to ensure successful integration with the wider data/IT ecosystem for robust data flow and consistent, compliant execution.
  • Vendor & Partner Management: Manage operational relationships with MarTech vendors, ensuring contract compliance, licensing optimisation, and alignment of vendor roadmaps with our strategic marketing needs.

Agency and External Partner Operating Model

  • Define, implement, and govern the optimal operating model for engaging with external marketing and creative agencies, ensuring a seamless flow of work and clear RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) across internal and external teams.

Performance & SLA Management

  • Establish clear Service Level Agreements (SLAs), KPIs, and quality standards for all agency partners, and monitor performance to ensure delivery is efficient, high‑quality, and adheres to budgets.

Relationship Optimization

  • Partner with Procurement and internal stakeholders to evaluate the effectiveness of the agency landscape and drive setup changes that increase execution velocity and operational leverage.

Data & Communication

  • Analyse and Adapt: Establish metrics and reporting on the efficiency of operational processes and MarTech utilisation. Use insights from multiple data sources to identify improvement areas and steer the programme's direction.
  • Communication: Confidently build relationships across the organisation, ensuring stakeholders are consistently informed of the latest operational developments and changes to our technology and process frameworks.

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF...

  • You have 5+ years of relevant work experience in Marketing Operations or a similar MarTech Management role, ideally in a large, complex organisation.
  • You possess deep expertise & passion in managing, integrating, and optimising a complex marketing technology stack, with hands‑on experience on platforms.
  • Proven expertise in defining and implementing an optimal operating model that governs the relationship between in‑house teams and external agencies.
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and have a proven ability to solve complex situations, identify and remove bottlenecks, and handle multiple, concurrent projects.
  • You are a strategic and daring thinker—you can see the bigger picture, challenge the status‑quo, and leverage an entrepreneurial mindset to find new opportunities for efficiency.
  • You have a strong ability to use data to identify root causes, understand problems, and build robust arguments to convince others of necessary process or technology changes.
  • You have great coordination and project management skills, attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy.
