About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior D365 SCM Functional to join our team in Münster. This full-time, long-term opportunity is critical for ensuring the stability and optimization of our client’s Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (SCM) platform.

The ideal candidate will be a deep subject matter expert with a proven track record in D365 support, user training, and proactive system improvement. Fluency in German is a mandatory requirement.

Key Qualifications

10+ years of professional experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Dynamics AX (ERP).
5+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience as a Functional Consultant within the Supply Chain Management (SCM) module of D365 F&O.
Demonstrable expertise in core SCM processes (e.g., Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse Management, Logistics).
Mandatory: Professional working fluency in the German language.
Must be able to work on-site from the client office in Münster, Germany .

Core Responsibilities

As the primary SCM Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for the continuous stability and evolution of the platform:

System Support & Incident Management:

Manage all aspects of day-to-day functional support for the D365 SCM platform.
Partner with the IT HelpDesk to provide daily end-user support, including managing user setup, profiles, and security roles.
Provide call support and manage the IT ticketing queue, ensuring all system issues and opportunities are properly documented, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.
Proactively manage and provide solutions for reported issues, escalating and seeking supervisor guidance where necessary.

Documentation & Process Improvement:

Proactively identify opportunities to improve platform efficiency, usability, and reporting capabilities within the SCM module.
Gain in-depth knowledge of business system applications and their interactions to properly identify and analyze problems.
Develop comprehensive documentation for identified business scenarios, processes, and procedures.
Maintain and update all platform/system documentation.

Consultation & Training:

Assist in developing and delivering training to end-users on new system processes and procedures.
Act as a functional authority to identify roadblocks, craft comprehensive solutions, and deliver successful outcomes that align with business strategy.
