Senior Motion Graphics Designer Berlin

About the opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Motion Graphics Designer to join our Creative Studio in Berlin. In this role you will help drive the N26 creative vision and play an integral role in developing and delivering world class creative executions globally.

In this role, you will:

• Excel in the craft of animation — you are nuanced in your work and have expert knowledge of animation tools, principles, and philosophies.
• Translate design and briefs into visually stunning 2D and 3D motion work.
• Create detailed, design-driven animations with exceptional quality and attention to detail.
• Produce rich motion graphic sequences containing 2D and 3D elements, including product renders, environment animations, and UI interactions.
• Develop and integrate 3D assets into motion design projects, ensuring seamless visual cohesion across all media.
• Establish new processes and workflows and optimise existing ones to ensure smooth-running production operations.
• Work across multiple projects concurrently.
• Seek creative excellence while always searching for improvement.
• Stay informed about industry trends in both 2D and 3D motion design, continually honing your craft to provide high-quality, forward-thinking solutions.

What you need to be successful:

Background:

• 4-year University Degree within the field of Motion Graphics, Design, or 3D Animation.
• 6+ years of motion design experience (agency/client side).
• Extensive experience working on global consumer brands.
• Awarded creative with a portfolio of A-list client work showcasing both 2D and 3D motion projects.

Skills:

• Ability and proven track record of functional and impactful design across all platforms (OOH, Social, Content, Performance, Lifecycle). Conceptual work matters, so we are looking for a true designer for this position who can identify and implement meaningful innovation in concept design.
• Experience working with global brands and international creative teams on integrated campaigns.
• Have fantastic asset management and organization skills
• Previous advertising agency experience is preferred. Experience on lifestyle brands is a strong plus.
• Function both independently and as a strong collaborator.
• You have an expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (primarily After Effects, Premiere and Photoshop) and related plugins experience
• You have experience using Figma
• Cinema 4D & Redshift experience or other relevant 3D tools
• You have the ability to create graphic layouts, storyboards and animatics.
• The ability to move at speed without compromising quality.
• Ability to work alongside, mentor and coach more junior team members.
• You can provide a reel of previous work.
• You’re fluent in English.
