Position: Associate Director – Microsoft Division - Germany - Optimus Search

As a Back-end C#/WPF Expert, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture and functionality of core software products.

Your responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance back-end systems and modern desktop applications using C# and WPF.

This role involves migrating on-prem applications to web-based, customized software from WPF to Angular.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a tech-driven environment where your ideas and skills directly impact innovative products used by clients across Germany and beyond.

Your Tasks

• Design, implement, and maintain back-end services and desktop applications using C# and WPF.
• Develop high-quality, scalable, and well-documented code.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and other communication protocols.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and software design processes.

Your Profile

• 5+ years of experience in C#/.NET development.
• Proven experience with WPF in a production environment.
• Experience in building single-page applications using Angular 10+.
• Solid understanding of MVVM architecture, data binding, and UI performance tuning.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, multithreading, and asynchronous programming.
• Familiarity with SQL databases (e.g., MSSQL, SQLite) and ORM tools (e.g., Entity Framework).
