Senior Consultant – IT Infrastructure | Projects & Change | Europe

We’re looking for a Senior Network Engineer to play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimising complex network environments that support mission-critical communication systems.

Xcede are partnered with a leading telecommunications company in Munich who are expanding their Network Engineering team as part of a major infrastructure transformation initiative.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly collaborative team working on cutting‑edge network technologies, ensuring scalability, performance, and security across large‑scale telecom environments.

What you’ll be doing:

Designing and maintaining enterprise‑grade network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, SD‑WAN, Firewalls, Routing/Switching).
Working with technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, and Check Point .
Supporting network automation and optimisation through Python scripting and CI/CD approaches.
Collaborating cross‑functionally to deliver robust, secure, and future‑ready network solutions.

What we’re looking for:

5+ years of hands‑on network engineering experience.
Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and security practices.
Experience with firewalls, load balancers, and monitoring tools.
Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken).
