Job Description

Senior Partner Manager

Location: Germany – Full‑time

The Role

The Senior Partner Manager will develop and execute a comprehensive partner strategy tailored to the regional markets, focusing on identifying, nurturing, and expanding relationships with high‑potential partners. This includes assessing and prioritizing partners who demonstrate commitment and willingness to invest in joint growth initiatives, and driving a revenue‑generating framework that delivers mutual value and sustainable business growth for both Strategy and its partners.

The Senior Partner Manager is responsible for providing leadership, management, and strategy for all partner types, including Cloud/AI Hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP), global SIs (GSIs), regional SIs, key ISVs (Snowflake, Databricks, Exasol, etc.), and VARs. The role ensures leverage and consistent engagement with these partnerships to drive customer engagements, qualified pipeline, and cloud bookings that meet and exceed quota.

The Senior Partner Manager will coordinate Strategy’s sales activities and act as a central conduit for engagement management between Strategy’s sales organization and all partners in the region. The position requires deep knowledge of partner strategies, including co‑selling, strategic planning, channel programs, marketing campaigns, and funnel management.

Your Focus

  • Manage the relationship with all partners in the region and help design activities to elevate those relationships.
  • Manage all joint sales and go‑to‑market activities with partners.
  • Generate net new logo pipeline by leveraging partner co‑sell motion, joint marketing, and account planning sessions with the Strategy sales organization.
  • Track opportunities, pipeline, and bookings; provide forecasts and funnel management reports.
  • Facilitate co‑selling opportunities, account mapping, and other sales engagements between Strategy’s field sales and partner sales teams.
  • Create and publish joint sales and marketing assets with partners.
  • Assist with partner training curriculum and sales enablement content.
  • Coordinate activities with partner functional teams—Business Development, Marketing, Product Management, Channels, and Sales—as part of the Cloud strategy.
  • Develop annual strategic plans and performance goals for each partner.
  • Support channel activity and provide coordination with partners.
  • Understand and articulate partner strategic initiatives, roadmap, and vision.
  • Act as escalation point for pre‑sales and post‑sales issues with partners.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key partner personnel to solidify Strategy’s standing and collaborate with Strategy’s sales team and executives.
  • Provide support for partner events, including participation and insight.
  • Offer expertise and training for Strategy’s field sales enablement.
  • Effectively manage partner managers in the territory and meet revenue goals across multiple partner revenue metrics.

Qualifications

Required Experience and Skills

  • 5+ years of sales leadership—Account, Alliance, or Partner Management.
  • Extensive channel experience, including selling with or managing channel partners.
  • Experience with Cloud/AI Hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Experience with GSIs and key ISVs such as Snowflake, Databricks, Exasol, etc.
  • Strong relationship and sales skills, with proven influence in partnerships.
  • Proven ability to work independently and with cross‑functional teams to achieve objectives.
  • Attention to detail; able to plan and execute effectively.
  • Strong business acumen and capability to develop strategic plans with partners and executives.
  • Ability to anticipate and interpret market and business trends and advise leadership.
  • Collaborative team player who values cooperation and mutual respect.
  • Experience working in a virtual and matrix environment.
  • Capacity to manage multiple disciplines and tasks in a high‑pressure, time‑sensitive environment.
  • 25% travel, including international.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • BA/BS (or equivalent); MBA preferred.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English.
