Senior Platform Engineer

THE ROLE

Join our Platform team and help shape the backbone of all Qwist products. We design, run, and evolve a multi-cluster, hybrid-cloud platform that powers our entire organization. From Kubernetes and cloud-native OSS to high availability and security-first design, you’ll work oncomplex, state-of-the-art infrastructure that makes a real impact across the company.

What you’ll do

• Drive our multi-cluster, hybrid-cloud setup forward
• Design and operate Kubernetes infrastructure with a security-first approach
• Automate CI/CD, deployments, and operational processes
• Collaborate with development teams to improve workflows and reliability
• Build new features and keep our internal development platform resilient and future-ready

What you bring

• Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud infrastructure
• Knowledge of agile workflows and lean principles
• Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and willingness to share knowledge
• Strong communication skills in English and a collaborative mindset

Nice to have

• Experience with programming languages (Java, C#, Golang, Rust)
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, GitLab CI/CD, monitoring stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, EFK)
• Hands-on with distributed systems, IaC (Terraform, Ansible), or storage systems
