Tasks

You are the owner for all pricing and promotional activities for your product families in our domestic and international markets. Along with your product management team counterparts as well as your colleagues from other marketing groups, you demonstrate ownership of the pricing strategy by positioning the product, price and offer to grow IONOS market share. You are mapping our competitors on our markets so you're driving concepts to optimize our campaigns, marketing measures and influence our product portfolio positioning. You will work on strategic product lines with top management visibility and strong growth ambitions.

We're seeking a highly skilled E-commerce Pricing Manager to own and drive pricing strategies for our product families across domestic and international markets. As a key member of our marketing team, you will collaborate with product management, marketing groups, and top management to optimize pricing, promotions, and product portfolio positioning. Tasks

  • Define and implement pricing and promotional strategies to drive growth, revenue, and market share.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform pricing decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align pricing strategies with product development, marketing, and sales goals.
  • Plan, execute, and measure the success of pricing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Develop and manage pricing roadmaps to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyse commercial performance metrics, such as revenue, profitability, and customer acquisition.
  • Develop and implement counter-measures to address performance gaps.
  • Design and execute promotion campaigns to drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted promotional offers and messaging.
  • Conduct external pricing benchmarks to stay ahead of competition.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform pricing and product strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a benchmark on product/price positioning.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in pricing, marketing, or product management, preferably in the Information Technology /Technology industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to handle multiple topics simultaneously
  • Fluency in English, with additional language skills in German, French, or Spanish being a plus
  • You're curious, open-minded, and enthusiastic about working in a dynamic environment
  • You're well-organized, hands-on, and able to prioritize tasks effectively
  • You're a team player with strong collaboration and teamwork skills
