Key responsibilities

• Collecting information from both internal and external customers for the needed developments and improvements.
• Perform the feasibility and the concept design including subcontractor selection and risk assessment (PFMEA) in order to assess the selected solutions for their relevance.
• Plan and perform engineering tests and use advanced statistical and scientific methods to address and assure process performance.
• Lead prototyping, characterization and verification of defined Process or equipment parameters to ensure the defined process specifications are met.
• Ensure the transfer of products from conception to production according to specifications, and conduct initial training to enable manufacturing to be self-sufficient.
• Provide procedures as basic for work, calibration and maintenance instructions.
• Support manufacturing beyond the process release to achieve the target process KPIs.
• Coach Process Engineers or Process specialists in order to increase technical competencies.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified or equivalent and have a proven track record within a similar role in manufacturing ideally automotive.
• Extensive experience in process management, project management and process control.
• Fluent in English; ability to speak German is an advantage.
