Location: Hamburg - Headquarter tesa, Hamburg, Germany

• Lead initiatives to optimize operational accounting processes, focusing on risk mitigation and compliance.
• Serve as the expert responsible for maintaining and enhancing our global SAP template system and process model.
• Provide insights in process and risk analysis, recommending innovative changes to departments.
• Drive pioneering projects in business process automation.
• Create comprehensive process documentation and guidelines to set standards for operational excellence.
• Participate in international, cross-functional projects, applying your accounting expertise across diverse teams.

What you will do

What you will need

• Educational background as an accountant (BilanzbuchhalterIn) or equivalent (e.g., Bachelor's in Business Administration with a focus on Finance / Controlling).
• Several years of practical experience in Finance, especially in accounting processes and design.
• Strong experience in process analysis and SAP-focused projects.

Personal Qualities:

• Analytical thinker with a structured and efficient work style.
• Effective communicator in both English and German, suitable for our international environment.
• Passionate about improvement and innovation, inspiring teams to excel.
• Proficiency in SAP; experience as a key user or in project management is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.
• German language skills (minimum Certificate Level C) and excellent English skills.
