Our client is a software company that focuses on building a great work and engineering culture while developing software for customers, collaborating with DAO and exploring their own software products. They specialize in custom software development, AI and ML solutions, product innovation and consulting services. Now they are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join their team. This is an opportunity to become a part of a forward-thinking, dynamic team passionate about technology and innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for digital projects from start to launch. Make sure that quality and budget meet the standards, even if you manage several projects at the same time.
• Plan, structure and manage projects with clarity and vision, in close collaboration with customers and tech leads from their teams.
• Recognize customer needs, translate them into clear, actionable steps for the team, track progress and identify hurdles at an early stage. Ensure that user needs and technical reality match.
• Conduct customer conversations and user interviews, obtain feedback and proactively advise your customers to make informed decisions.
• Support your development team (2–5 people) throughout the entire project cycle. Give feedback, conduct reviews and take personal responsibility for the further development and well-being of your team.
• Despite strategic responsibility, you stay close to the project, organize GitHub tasks, support testing and quality assurance and actively help shape things.
• Recognize risks early, develop smart solutions and think ahead of projects.

Requirements:

• You have several years of experience in managing complex (tech) projects with a high level of personal responsibility, sovereignty and structure.
• You are tech-savvy (a developer background or private tech projects are helpful, but not a must) and can clearly understand technical requirements and communicate them precisely and constructively between different stakeholders.
• You actively design, ensure speed and quality and are not afraid to delve into details when necessary.
• You communicate clearly, structured and fluently in German and English.
• You think ahead, tackle challenges, react flexibly to changes, take responsibility and go the extra mile to find pragmatic solutions.
• You are registered in Germany and can work flexibly remotely or come to the Cologne office whenever it suits you.
