As we expand our client base and use cases, we are seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Manager to join our Professional Service Team. You will manage complex projects across financial services, private equity, and analytics sectors, ensuring delivery of innovative solutions with high performance and client satisfaction.

The role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee full project life cycles from planning to delivery, working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Responsibilities include coordinating project activities, ensuring governance, and serving as the primary contact between clients and internal teams. You will manage project schedules, resources, change, risks, and issues, with occasional involvement in presales activities to scope projects and develop statements of work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timeliness, scope, and budget adherence.
• Develop detailed project plans with milestones, deliverables, and resource allocations specific to financial services and private equity sectors. Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with sales during pre-sales to understand client needs, define scope, and develop statements of work.
• Coordinate initial planning sessions with clients to define objectives, resources, and timelines aligning with CEPRES’s strategic goals.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Team Management

• Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, including consultancy, product management, data acquisition, and finance.
• Facilitate regular project status meetings and provide progress reports, escalating issues as needed.

Governance, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement

• Ensure adherence to project governance frameworks, quality standards, and compliance.
• Maintain documentation, create status reports, dashboards, and presentations communicating progress and risks.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance project management practices.

Innovation, Mentorship, and Knowledge Sharing

• Promote a culture of innovation by sharing best practices and insights.
• Mentor junior project managers and team members, supporting their professional growth.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience within Fin-tech, Private Markets, Investment Banking, or Financial Services.
• Experience managing complex, high-stakes projects in financial services, private equity, or data analytics.
• Experience with multiple projects or PMO experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, with attention to detail and quality.
• PMI or Prince2 certification is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills with diverse stakeholders, including high-level financial clients.
• Experience working with innovative, data-driven solutions in dynamic environments.
• Proficiency in project management software, CRM systems, and data analytics platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Finance, Engineering, or related fields; a Master’s or MBA is a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements and industry events.
