As Senior Project Manager Development Photovoltaics (d/w/m) , you will manage the development of several solar projects in different phases from the development pipeline in Germany. The regional focus is on Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein. You will lead the projects until they are ready for construction and investment decision and manage the necessary project participants as well as the project team.

  • Identification and development of photovoltaic (PV) projects up to the analysis and preparation of decision documents for investment decisions and handover to the construction team.
  • Control and optimisation of project budgets, targets, schedules and performance of assigned development projects
  • Leading and coordinating interdisciplinary project teams from internal departments and external service providers
  • Work closely with Valuation, Commercial and Engineering teams to optimise project economics
  • Lead the permitting process and coordinate the project team of internal departments and external service providers (e.g. environmental consultants) and interact with all relevant stakeholders (e.g. landowners, permitting authorities, municipalities, politicians)
  • Carrying out market analyses in the solar energy sector, identification of cooperation/project opportunities.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, business administration or related field with several years of experience in PV project development in Germany.
  • Extensive knowledge in the development of solar greenfield PV projects and leading interdisciplinary project teams
  • Excellent knowledge of project management and the German renewable energy market
  • Strong analytical thinking coupled with initiative and commitment to successfully develop and drive projects forward
  • Excellent team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
  • High willingness to travel, especially within Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein
