The Role: As part of our Professional Services Consulting team DACH, we seek candidates with senior German SAP Payroll experience. You will work with German clients and our delivery center in Granada, Spain. Cross-team collaboration in English is essential. Future opportunities include expanding skills in SFSF Employee Central, SF Time, point-to-point integration, and other HR systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead customer assignments and design workshops to capture payroll requirements
2. Analyze client requirements for the PY module
3. Create functional documentation and workbooks
4. Implement customer requirements in SAP HCM PY or SF Employee Central Payroll, with support from technical teams
5. Manage data migration, especially for master and payroll data
6. Lead testing cycles, including UAT and parallel testing
7. Coordinate with cross-functional streams, e.g., in hybrid SuccessFactors projects
8. Support sales and pre-sales activities during due diligence workshops

Requirements:

• Senior knowledge of German Payroll processes; experience as payroll manager preferred
• Strong SAP payroll configuration skills
• Client-focused with a good understanding of client needs
• Positive attitude and collaborative mindset across Europe and India teams
• Fluent in German and English
• Knowledge of SAP reporting tools (e.g., ad-hoc query, wage type reporter)
• Understanding of payroll and post-payroll processes (e.g., B2A posting to finance)
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle in structured projects
• Experience in SAP Payroll system support and maintenance

Work Experience:

• Multiple payroll project implementations
• Experience working in virtual, multinational teams using tools like Teams, Outlook
• Proficiency in Business English (spoken and written)
• Basic ABAP knowledge is desirable
