Senior SAP S/4HANA R2R Consultant - Cost Accounting & Product Costing

Overview

Senior SAP S/4HANA R2R Consultant - Cost Accounting & Product Costing at Scandinavian Tobacco Group. The role focuses on product costing within the SAP S/4HANA landscape, supporting global implementations, leading the Record-to-Report (R2R) workstream, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deliver cost accounting solutions aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Product Costing and related R2R processes in S/4HANA.
• Lead and execute Cost Accounting configuration, integration, and deployment activities in global SAP S/4HANA.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
• Drive standardization of Cost Accounting processes across business units and geographies.
• Oversee key project phases including cutover planning, go-live execution, and hypercare support.

Skills & Experience

Required:

• 7–10+ years of SAP experience, with at least 3+ years in S/4HANA R2R
• Proven track record in end-to-end SAP implementations and global rollouts
• Deep understanding of financial processes, primarily:
  • Product Costing
  • Profit Center and Cost Center Accounting
  • Intercompany Accounting
• Expertise in SAP configuration and integration
• Strong grasp of end-to-end business processes regarding manufacturing, production and inventory accounting
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles: fixed/variable costs, overhead allocation, margin analysis
• Thorough understanding of data requirements and SAP cost valuation flows

Advantageous:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
• SAP S/4HANA certification in Finance or Controlling
• Experience with global template design and multi-country deployments
• Experience managing cutover, go-live, and hypercare phases
