This is a full-time, remote opportunity open to candidates based within the EMEA region.




About the Role

As a Senior Scrum Master, you will take a leadership role in guiding multiple Agile teams to deliver high-quality, innovative software solutions. You will foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement, while ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. Your expertise will help shape and mature Agile practices across the organization, enabling teams to operate at their highest potential.




Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Agile teams in the effective adoption of Scrum frameworks, practices, and values.
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews ensuring they drive value and alignment.
• Partner closely with product owners, engineering leaders, QA, and business stakeholders to maintain a clear, prioritized product backlog.
• Proactively identify, manage, and remove impediments that affect team performance and delivery timelines.
• Track and analyze Agile metrics to provide insights, identify trends, and implement improvements for long-term success.
• Champion a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous learning across teams.
• Coach stakeholders at all levels on Agile principles, fostering alignment and shared understanding.
• Oversee multiple Scrum teams, ensuring consistency, scalability, and excellence in delivery.



Requirements

• Proven track record as a Senior Scrum Master in a software development environment.
• Deep understanding of Agile principles, frameworks, and practices (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
• Strong leadership, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills with a focus on empowering teams.
• Expertise in tools like Jira, Confluence, or equivalent project management platforms.
• Ability to lead remote, distributed, and cross-functional teams across multiple time zones.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM) or equivalent; advanced Agile certifications are highly preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Background in SaaS or technology companies, with knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
