Our Talent Science team has a mission to follow objective, scientifically rigorous and efficient processes to select the very best new colleagues regardless of location, culture or background. We work with key stakeholders to ensure decisions are made in the right way and that our hiring model supports world-class talent.

We work with the business to ensure they select talent precisely, develop best practice, and offer expert insights on talent assessments. We are not recruiters; this is about the science of talent and performance, raising awareness and delivering deep analytical insights to enable selecting the best talent from our global talent pool.

We have a brand new opportunity for an experienced Tech-focused in-house search consultant to teach senior executives how to source talent for senior leadership roles. Key skills include the items listed below.

Responsibilities

  • Developing a search strategy for the business, ensuring processes enable headhunted talent to move smoothly through the pipeline.
  • Coaching senior leadership teams to drive hiring outcomes, enabling them to attract exceptional talent for management and leadership positions.
  • Driving talent analytics to provide real-time insight and partnering with the business to move through hiring processes efficiently.
  • Conducting in-depth behavioural talent interviews to provide insights into motivations and behaviours.
  • Building relationships with global stakeholders to deliver against the hiring agenda and maintain consistency in processes.
  • Considering the employer brand and candidate experience in interactions.
  • Seeking continuous improvement on hiring processes and outcomes.
  • Bringing a passion for diversity and inclusion, removing unconscious bias and ensuring sourcing supports this.

Qualifications

  • Professional experience identifying and approaching senior leadership talent in technology, from a professional search firm or in-house function.
  • Experience training senior stakeholders in identifying and approaching talent.
  • Excellent knowledge of tools to identify future talent including market mapping.
  • Strong grasp of behavioural interviewing techniques (competency-based and psychometric assessments).
  • Strong analytical problem solving to identify trends from data.
  • Academic background including a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology or related field, with a good level of Maths at high school.
  • Experience with LinkedIn talent modules and remote work efficiency.
  • Willingness to travel to company events 2-4 times a year, up to two weeks each.

Other skills

  • Experience with advanced analytics and statistical analysis (e.g., SQL).
  • Familiarity with tools such as Greenhouse ATS, Thomas International and DISC profiling.
  • Understanding of psychometric validity and reliability metrics.
