Job Description
As a Social Media Growth Manager , you will shape the long-term direction and impact of our organic social media presence. You will partner with the Social Media Team Lead to define strategy regarding the role of channels and the overall impact of Organic Social Media on the sales funnel, as well as its contribution to customer and brand value. You will guide channel priorities and ensure social media work contributes measurable value to both brand and business. You will focus on innovation, analysis, and brand storytelling to identify growth opportunities, test new platforms and topics, and evolve our global social ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Support the Social Media Team Lead in developing strategy aligned with marketing/brand and business goals; measure and monitor the impact of organic social media on the sales funnel and its contribution to customer and brand value.
- Drive strategic development of all social media channels by identifying growth opportunities, audience segments, and content pillars that enhance brand relevance, business impact and engagement.
- Define and refine platform-specific strategies for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging platforms; ensure strategies are actionable.
- Develop and monitor co-marketing concepts to drive revenue and channel performance.
- Ensure decisions are insight-driven by collaborating with analytics and customer research teams.
- Educate and enable the team to understand and execute channel strategies.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance across global markets; adapt content formats, posting schedules, and engagement tactics.
- Collaborate with regional and international teams to ensure cohesive messaging and maximize synergies across markets.
- Work with Creative Social Media Manager and other content teams to connect strategy and creativity; partner with customer insights, performance marketing, and CRM teams to integrate social into cross-channel initiatives.
- Scout trends and innovations; contribute to playbooks, guidelines, and best practices for our organic social media team and beyond.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in social media strategy and channel management, ideally within e-commerce or a consumer brand.
- Experience developing executable Organic Social Media strategies linking business/brand goals with hands-on execution.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, derive insights, and translate into actionable strategies.
- Familiarity with major platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn) and their role in driving engagement and business value.
- Experience with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Sprinklr or similar).
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on mentality; able to plan big-picture direction while optimizing daily performance.
- Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
- A passion for digital trends, social media innovation, and the role social plays in shaping brand-consumer relationships.
- Advanced German language skills are a plus.
- Bonus: Experience with AI-driven analytics, trend forecasting, or content optimization tools.
