Senior Software Engineer / Software Backend Developer

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer / Software Backend Developer to help build the secure, scalable infrastructure behind Sonova’s digital hearing health solutions. You’ll work on cloud-based systems that power mobile and web applications, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and document cloud-based backend systems
• Write clean, testable, and efficient C# code
• Develop independent software components with synchronous/asynchronous communication
• Ensure platform reliability and failover mechanisms
• Manage monitoring and alerting infrastructure
• Troubleshoot issues and provide 2nd/3rd level support
• Drive DevOps lifecycle, automation, and orchestration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on secure, scalable solutions

Your Profile

• Strong experience in C# and .NET in a web environment
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and NoSQL databases (e.g., CosmosDB)
• Experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure (AKS, ServiceBus, Functions)
• Understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JS, Angular)
• Solid grasp of software development lifecycle and DevOps practices
• Analytical, solutions-oriented, and self-disciplined
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
