We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack) to play a pivotal role in building reliable backend services, optimizing databases, and shaping architectural decisions. Tasks

What You'll Do

• Build & Scale Backends: Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Model & Optimize Databases: Create efficient schemas to support current needs while planning for future scale.
• Shape Architecture: Collaborate with other senior engineers and the CTO to refine system design and ensure smooth integration between backend, frontend, and infrastructure.
• Validate Infrastructure: Partner with our DevOps team to review and validate AWS configurations, deployments, and security practices.
• Enhance CI/CD: Ensure robust, automated pipelines for reliable deployments and rapid iteration.
• Maintain Quality: Write clean, testable, and scalable code and participate in code reviews to uphold engineering best practices.
• Mentor & Share Knowledge: Support junior engineers through guidance, debugging help, and sharing best practices.
• Leverage AI Thoughtfully: Use AI tools strategically to enhance productivity and code quality, with a clear understanding of when and how to apply them effectively—we don't "vibe code," we use AI to make our work better.

Requirements

Must-Haves

• Strong skills in Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience building and maintaining REST APIs or microservices.
• Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, etc.).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD workflows and Git-based development.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment with high autonomy.
• AI-first mindset: Comfortable using AI tools strategically while maintaining strong engineering fundamentals.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with NestJS or similar backend frameworks.
• Exposure to frontend frameworks like Angular.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Performance tuning and security optimization experience.
  Previous experience in AI/ML startups or working with AI-powered products.
