Your Role

As a Senior Software Engineer in Test, you will join a multidisciplinary team of MRI and Software Engineers. Your responsibilities include innovating and refining our cutting‑edge scanning software for maximum precision and efficiency, enhancing testing capabilities, improving performance, and ensuring the robustness and reliability of our systems.

• Annual gross: €70,000 – €75,000
• Equity: €20,000 – €40,000
• Remote/Hybrid in Munich – full‑time

Responsibilities

• Design and execute contract, integration, and E2E tests focusing on microservices communication between AI models, MRI systems, and hardware components.
• Conduct thorough unit test reviews at the code‑review stage to improve quality and impact.
• Implement mocks, stubs, and fakes with frameworks such as unittest.mock, pytest‑mock, or equivalents.
• Develop reusable test cases using tools like Pytest, Unittest, and RabbitMQ.
• Collaborate with the Head of Quality Engineering on testing strategies and best practices.
• Own the testing framework from unit to CI/CD pipeline, ensuring maintainability and scalability.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines integrated with the overall test strategy.

Experience and Skills

• Proficiency in Python, Pytest, and Unittest.
• Experience designing and implementing mocks, stubs, and fakes.
• Experience developing and maintaining scalable testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise in designing robust architecture and applying best practices.
• Proficiency with messaging systems like RabbitMQ or RESTful APIs.
• Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with unit test and TDD approaches.
