YOUR ROLE AT SIXT
• You build consumer-facing software that “just works” in Java
• You are responsible for designing end-to-end distributed systems on the cloud
• You build libraries and tools for our microservices ecosystem
• You work on event-driven systems and keep yourself up to date with the latest technologies to help you create scalable and resilient software


YOUR SKILLS MATTER
Experience

You have a university degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline with proven experience working in Technology environment building Cloud native applications, ideally in dynamic and fast-paced settings


Language

You have extensive and advanced development experience in Java and Spring Boot


Architecture

You have experience designing distributed systems with event-driven Microservices architectures using brokers such as Kafka, NSQ or RabbitMQ


Platform

You are comfortable with AWS, Kubernetes and Terraform as well as observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus and IBM Instana to monitor and ensure system reliability


Communication

You possess excellent communication skills and are able to collaborate effectively with diverse teams across geo-locations
