Overview

As a Solutions Engineer at Lucanet, you’ll serve as the technical bridge between our platform capabilities and customer needs, collaborating with sales teams across Europe to deliver tailored solutions. You’ll lead technical discoveries and compelling product demonstrations that showcase how our platform empowers the office of the CFO, aligning our solutions to customer pain points and driving technical wins.

With a focus on continuous improvement, you’ll contribute to sales enablement materials, engage in cross-functional initiatives and stay informed on industry trends. Your pre-sales expertise coupled with strong communication skills will enable you to translate complex technical concepts into meaningful business value for prospective customers.

What you\'ll do

  • Lead customer discovery sessions to uncover pain points and business objectives, then architect tailored solutions that meet their needs.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations that showcase how our platform solves real-world finance & tax challenges.
  • Drive technical wins throughout the sales cycle using value selling techniques, storytelling, active listening, copywriting, and pipeline management.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear business benefits for diverse stakeholders, crafting accurate and compelling responses for RFPs and RFIs.
  • Mentor junior team members by sharing best practices and technical knowledge.
  • Provide valuable market feedback to product teams and other stakeholders based on customer interactions to influence future enhancements.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends and continuously expand your technical knowledge of our Lucanet product suite.

What you bring to the table

  • Experience in sales engineering or technical pre-sales, ideally within SaaS or FinTech environments.
  • Strong value selling experience and ability to align technical capabilities with business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English, with ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders across the DACH region and interact with our international workforce.
  • Proficiency in using CRMs and sales tools to support efficient sales processes
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to craft innovative solutions for complex customer challenges.
  • Collaborative mindset, with ability to work effectively across teams and contribute to Lucanet’s strategic growth.
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, or tax processes beneficial but not required (comprehensive onboarding provided).
