SENIOR SYSTEM ENGINEER CUBERNETES / OPENSHIFT (m/f/d)

We are seeking a Senior System Engineer with expertise in Kubernetes and OpenShift to join our team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Administering our customers' Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift environments
• Designing, developing, and operating container platforms and services using current technologies
• Automating operational processes with Ansible
• Developing, operating, and utilizing analysis and monitoring platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Nagios, and Icinga
• Implementing the latest trends and technologies, including hybrid cloud scenarios
• Identifying and analyzing customer requirements and exploring implementation options
• Developing sophisticated solution concepts
• Handling faults and customer inquiries as part of 2nd level support following ITIL standards
• Creating and adapting scripts to maintain and optimize operations (e.g., Helm charts, Shell, Perl, Python)
• Maintaining the central knowledge database

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience with container technologies, especially OpenShift or Kubernetes, and automation tools like Ansible
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as OpenStack is desirable
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Gitlab CI, CircleCI) is a plus
• Broad knowledge of current best practices and tools in cloud-native and DevOps environments (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
• Good knowledge of Git (Gitlab, GitHub, Bitbucket)
• High initiative, team spirit, and analytical skills
• Experience in Linux server administration
• Fluent in German and English
