YOUR MISSION AT PLANCRAFT

You’ve already spent several years driving Talent Acquisition in a startup or scaleup environment and are now eager to take the next step: building a future-proof TA function that acts as a strategic enabler for our business.
At plancraft, you’ll help us scale to 150+ employees and expand into new European markets—by combining hands-on recruiting with a data-driven, process-oriented, and AI-enabled approach. On the one hand, you’ll lead end-to-end recruiting for 5–8 roles at a time. On the other, you’ll drive Hiring Operations Excellence by building and refining processes, tooling, and workflows, while also enabling our international growth through market-specific recruiting strategies, talent mapping, and inclusive hiring practices. You’ll work closely with our Head of People & Organization and the TA team, bringing your expertise into daily recruiting while also developing as a driver of operational excellence and international scale.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruiting for 5–8 roles at a time across all functions and levels.
  • Shape and optimize TA operations by co-creating scalable, data- and AI-enabled processes and workflows that make recruiting efficient, consistent, and impactful.
  • Champion candidate experience by ensuring every interaction is high-quality, personal, and inclusive—turning it into a true differentiator for plancraft.
  • Build and implement new workflows and tools by designing and rolling out (AI-driven) processes, testing emerging technologies, and integrating them seamlessly into our TA stack.
  • Ensure ATS data accuracy and quality by providing structured documentation in Personio, maintaining clean data flows, and enableing reliable reporting and insights.
  • Track and analyze recruiting KPIs, translate insights into action, and collaborate with the Head of P&O on continuous, data-driven improvements.
  • Drive international growth by adapting recruiting processes to new markets, designing market-specific sourcing strategies, conducting talent mapping, and building diverse pipelines across Europe.
  • Stay ahead of TA trends by exploring, testing, and implementing new approaches while keeping up to date with industry best practices.
  • Act as a strategic sparring partner and close collaborator with your TA team members and hiring managers, sharing expertise and best practices, and raising the bar for how we hire.

YOUR PROFILE

Must-haves

  • 4+ years of end-to-end recruiting experience in a startup/scaleup or similarly dynamic environment.
  • Proven track record in hiring for different functions and seniorities.
  • Strong background in building and operationalizing TA processes (playbooks, tooling, reporting, automation).
  • Passion for candidate experience and proven ability to design processes that are inclusive, fair, and engaging.
  • Data-driven mindset with hands-on experience in tracking and interpreting recruiting KPIs.
  • High Proficiency with Personio ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter and other TA Solutions.
  • High affinity and/or proven experience with AI-enabled recruiting solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Structured, proactive working style with a hands-on mindset.
  • Curiosity to explore how AI can support your work and eager to grow your skills with our support.
  • Fluency in English required and preferably in German (C1/C2 level).
  • Ideally based in Hamburg or willing to visit our HQ office ~1–2 times per month.
Nice-to-haves
  • Proven experience in international hiring.
  • Additional languages (e.g. Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Polish) are a plus.
