    As the Senior VP of Strategic Solutions and Patient Centricity (SSPC), you will play a crucial role in driving the success of new business proposals and clinical trial delivery by combining strategic insight, targeted therapeutic oversight, a patient-centric focus, and industry expertise. The role bridges both Operations and Commercial departments while maintaining autonomy. You will ensure the right structure and environment for your team to orchestrate successful clinical trial planning and execution. This role will lead a team of skilled professionals and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to shape the course of clinical trials globally.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Drive overall operational strategy globally, focusing on Oncology and Rare Disease to maximize Ergomeds' revenue and reputation.
    • Lead and foster a collaborative, innovative environment within a team of highly skilled professionals.
    • Provide mentorship and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
    • Leverage understanding of clinical trial dynamics, sponsor context, therapy characteristics, disease indications, scientific/medical knowledge, and regulatory requirements to support strategic trial planning.
    • Collaborate with internal and external experts to incorporate innovative approaches into trial design and planning.
    • Work with Business Development to contribute strategic insights during proposals and client engagements to win new contracts.
    • Develop and present compelling narratives showcasing Ergomeds' expertise and strategic solutions.
    • Establish the Directors' Operational Strategy as owners of the Win Strategy for each key new business opportunity.
    • Create clear job descriptions and RACIs to ensure role clarity and efficient decision-making.
    • Build the Operational and Clinical Intelligence team, defining its value-added outputs and stakeholder interactions.
    • Implement access to empirical data sources in Oncology and Rare Disease, leveraging this intelligence to inform Win Strategies.
    • Establish the Clinician Engagement function to gather insights from key opinion leaders worldwide, informing trial design and understanding standard of care.
    • Promote a patient-centric approach throughout all stages of clinical trial planning and execution.
    • Partner with operational colleagues to identify, mitigate, and manage potential challenges during study execution.
    • Represent the company at industry meetings, speaking engagements, exhibitions, and through publications.
    • Participate in client development, proposal creation, bid defense preparation, and meetings.
    • Establish Ergomed as a recognized authority in clinical trial strategy and patient-centricity within the industry.
    • Perform administrative tasks related to department leadership, including budget oversight and performance reviews.

    Qualifications:

    Education: Masters in relevant scientific, medical, or related fields; PhD/MD preferred.

    Experience:

    • Extensive clinical research experience in oncology.
    • Deep knowledge of global clinical research strategies, stakeholders, and KOLs.
    • Previous leadership success in a CRO environment.
    • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and medical terminology.

    Special Skills:

    • Strong business acumen and ability to navigate complex, matrixed global environments.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in dynamic settings.
    • Excellent organizational, presentation, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
